Being called a Fulbrighter is the biggest dream of thousands of students, and I am proud and honored to be given such an opportunity and I wouldn't compromise to struggle to the last extent possible to be called a Fulbrighter - The real leader.
My Fulbright journey which started at Saint John's in NewYork is wonderful. Everything here is so exciting and amazing; It is just another world with different places and innovations and developments.
My impression about New York and New Yorkers; It is a wonderful and welcoming state with so many helpful people everywhere; Everyone greets you with a smile and is ready to offer help even if you don't ask for :)
NewYorkers are really in a rush, I had heard this before coming here, but now I do agree with it and this is a great thing which I have learnt; they rush so they meet their schedule for their planned activities.
The excursions so far (Time square, Top of the rock, City sight seeing & Scavenger Hunt - Metropolitan Museum) have been so informative as well as exciting and fun, I really had a great time and learned many things about New York city and the New Yorkers - Thanks to Shea & Cassandra for their companion.
About Saint John's - The president is so impressive and simply decent - Every word he spoke at the reception was so powerful and inspiring. The faculty members are really welcoming, friendly, supportive and encouraging. Thanks to everyone of them.
And last but of course not the least - The wonderful Fulbright team - I am glad to be with such a team and will love to stay in contact.
Looking for more excitements until the next blog.
Thanks - Enjoy the remaining time in New York!
